Pippa's career started way back in 1996 when she completed her first makeup course. A hairdressing apprenticeship followed and now, (eek!) 20+ years on, she has been fortunate to have had a varied working career including wig stylist, hairdresser, freelance hair and makeup artist, a 2 year stint in the UK working with M.A.C, an educator and now business owner and mumma bear. With a young family Pippa's availability is now strictly limited.
JESS CHARTER - HAIR & MAKEUP Fresh from walking down the aisle herself, Jess has the knowledge of both sides of the experience. With 7 years hairdressing and 3 years in makeup, Jess is a one stop style shop, and super lovely to boot! Her dedication to be an awesome mum first means she is there for school drop off/pick up so is only available for trials between these hours and on weekends when time assists around her other bookings.
5 minutes with Jess... Tell us something interesting about you? I have a gorgeous 6yo daughter and just got married! I'm a beach bunny and sun worshiper (with SPF 50+ on of course!!) and love travelling. What do you love about being a stylist? I love being such an important part of your big day. I really enjoy the fun atmosphere of getting a bride and her friends ready and you know you love your job when it doesn't feel like work. Favourite Products? Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette, Urban Decay & my Wella Luxe Oil. Best Advice? From my own experience I learnt the earlier you are ready the better. Give yourself a good hour to chill out, have a drink and get organised before it gets hectic. And give yourself time to take it all in. The day really does fly by!
DANI - HAIR With 10yrs of experience as a hairdresser and stylist Dani has all your hair styling needs covered. This gorgeous lady loves weddings so much she is making her whole career about them.
5 minutes with Dani... Tell us something interesting about you? I was lucky enough to spend a whole year living on Hamilton Island where I was styling gorgeous brides practically every day! Thats a lot of brides! It was the best experience and the most beautiful location to be able to really hone my styling skills What do you love about being a stylist? I love making people feel happy and helping them look their best. Creating new styles is really fun. Favourite products? Love my hairspray and shine spray. Best advice? Do a little research first to find pictures of the styles you love. The pictures will give me an idea of your style and how to create a timeless look that not only suits you but that you will really love on the day and in to the future.
